A Textile Installation
A playful study on the ways our surroundings affect how we feel, take in moments, and guide dialogue. Port invited us to reimagine their space in Long Beach. By fully reimagining our environment, we designed and brought to life a textural collection of functional textiles and up-cycled findings. Everything designed and printed by Current Shapes.
We saw the true potential in this set of dusty wooden midcentury chairs as they called to us in a vintage hardware store. A little sanding, a little handprinted patterned upholstery, and a lot of love to create this unique set of up-cycled chairs.
